Over the course of six weeks, twelve high school students collaborate to write, produce, direct, and edit a film under the guidance of a professional filmmaker. Camp-goers get hands-on experience with professional equipment, use current techniques, and learn life and job skills through the inspiring and collaborative process of creating media art. Once completed, the film will show on the big screen at Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s grand premiere.
BMFI’s Summer Filmmaking Workshop meets Mondays through Thursdays, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Bryn Mawr Film Institute, from June 24 to August 1. (There is no workshop on July 4.)
