A historic adventure awaits!
Summer camps at the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation offer an exciting way for children to spend a portion of their summer. Through hands-on farming activities and historic crafts, your child will learn about history and colonial life through a camp that is interactive, educational, and most of all, FUN! Perfect for your young history buff or children looking for a one-of-a-kind experience.
The campers will engage in a variety of activities including group activities and take-home crafts all related to the theme of each week. Some camps may include a group project that benefits the site. Many activities are divided by age group, allowing campers to learn with their peers.
Our camp staff are the same educators that work throughout the school year offering exceptional educational programs to schools. They are all trained professionals with backgrounds in history, education, and historic skills.
All camps run 9 AM to 3 PM.
All the camps provide an afternoon snack, and free time after lunch for cooling off in our stream, playing group games, reading, or just resting. They also each culminate in a supervised swim in Ridley Creek.
