Benchmark Camp is a transformative experience that provides an academic boost as well as a summer of fun. At Benchmark Camp, world-renowned academics and a beloved recreation program (including swimming, art, science, sports, and zipline) merge to create an impactful summer. Benchmark Camp builds executive function skills, self-esteem, and confidence and is especially beneficial for bright children with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or other learning differences.

Grades 1-6
Twelve high school students collaborate on writing, producing, and editing an original short film under the guidance of a professional filmmaker. Participants will get hands-on experience with professional equipment, use current techniques, and learn life and job skills through the inspiring and collaborative process of creating media art.
This six-week day program meets Mondays through Thursdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, June 24 to August 1 (no session on July 4). When the film is complete, BMFI will show it on the big screen at the world premiere.
Ages 14-18

This climbing and ninja warrior combination camp guides campers to get the most out of both Reach and The Factory! On a daily basis, our campers will climb 60-foot walls, navigate and race through ninja obstacle courses like real Ninja Warriors, problem-solve with each other to climb new boulder routes and complete daily challenges, and of course, play new games every day!
Our experienced climbing and ninja coaches have crafted a program full of fun workouts, movement workshops, friendly competitions, and training through games in order to improve our campers’ balance, proprioception, agility, fear threshold, and upper body power!

A historic adventure awaits!
Summer camps at the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation offer an exciting way for children to spend a portion of their summer. Through hands-on farming activities and historic crafts, your child will learn about history and colonial life through a camp that is interactive, educational, and most of all, FUN! Perfect for your young history buff or children looking for a one-of-a-kind experience.
The campers will engage in a variety of activities including group activities and take-home crafts all related to the theme of each week. Some camps may include a group project that benefits the site. Many activities are divided by age group, allowing campers to learn with their peers.
Our camp staff are the same educators that work throughout the school year offering exceptional educational programs to schools. They are all trained professionals with backgrounds in history, education, and historic skills.
All camps run 9 AM to 3 PM.
All the camps provide an afternoon snack, and free time after lunch for cooling off in our stream, playing group games, reading, or just resting. They also each culminate in a supervised swim in Ridley Creek.

We Do More than Just Draw! Our drawing camps offer child-friendly and relevant subject matter to spark interest and increase knowledge retention. Young Rembrandts students are exposed to a wide variety of subject matter, artistic concepts, art history and mastery of their materials. We learn about famous artists and their work, as well as famous architectural landmarks. We draw realistic still life subjects as well as fun cartoons! Our curriculum is carefully developed by a team of art educators and artists in a way that we never repeat a lesson. We are excited to again offer our combined Field Hockey and Lacrosse Camp. Our camp is suitable for complete beginners and athletes with some experience. We will use games to teach the fundamentals of field hockey (morning) and lacrosse (afternoon) as well as join in fun competitions each day. The goal is to play and learn in a positive, supportive environment while having fun.

This camp is open to athletes entering grades 1-9. The camp provides an opportunity for both beginners and advanced players. Instruction for beginners will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game, while more advanced players will hone their skills and expand their knowledge of offensive and defensive strategies. Campers will work on the following skill development: stick work, drives, pushes, lifts, shooting, penalty strokes, reverse chips, penalty corners, and basic rules.

Summer Friends provides children ages 3-10 with an opportunity to participate in weekly thematic units taught by experienced counselors and certified elementary teachers. Children enjoy the freedom of summer in a welcoming and relaxed environment. The campers at Summer Friends are free to explore, play, and express themselves in the safe community found year-round at Media-Providence Friends School. Smaller groups allow for meaningful interaction with teachers as well as other children of similar ages and all activities are tailored for campers’ developmental and physical levels. The children at Summer Friends participate in a wide variety of experiences that help them shape their vision of the people and the world around them. Onsite programs are complemented by special weekly presentations and field trips* to nature centers, zoos, parks, and other local events. Twice weekly, campers participate in instructional and recreational swimming* at Knowlton Swim Club with certified water safety instructors. Covid-19 Precautions: This summer, counselors, staff, and campers will observe Covid-19 precautions to assure that everyone has a safe and fun summer. Learn more about our Health & Safety Plan. Covid-19 may force us to change or cancel scheduled trips, either because of closed facilities or lack of available bus drivers. Cancellations made by families after May 15 are non-refundable. In the event that Summer Friends cancels camp due to Covid-19 recommendations, tuition will be fully refunded.

Experience the power of art in a magical place! At Community Arts Center’s Summer Spree Arts Camp, kids can have fun, be creative, create memories, learn new skills, and make art alongside talented teaching artists. Campers entering grades K through 6 will experience art through personal and collaborative projects, nature walks and outdoor games. Visiting artists present special collaborative projects each week. Camp runs 9am-4pm in week long sessions. CAC also offers afternoon Teen Studios featuring cartooning, photography, ceramics and more for students entering grades 7 through 12. Our theme this year is RE-NEW: Art for Earth! A special Rock & Roll music camp is also available during the weeks of June 17th and August 19th.

Spacious summer weeks are the perfect time to take a deep dive into what makes theatre so special! Students entering grade 2 to those preparing for college work alongside our active professional theatre company, under the mentorship of experienced Teaching Artists. We begin with curiosity about ourselves and the world around us. No auditions, no script, no boundaries on what we can do or who we can be. Students take part in a wide range of theatre exercises to develop their skills, and create original performances. All activities take place in the rehearsal halls, stages, and green spaces of our beautiful campus in Malvern.
